7 SUMMITS

As a champion of removing limits, demonstrating resilience and innovation and showing the effects of a positive mindset, Hari has completed

the 7 Summits (highest summit on each continent) to become

the first double above-knee amputee to do so in history.

Every summit that Hari has conquered he hopes will inspire others facing a life changing disability to always strive to reach for extraordinary goals and break down boundaries.

Having successfully summited Mt. Blanc and Mt. Kilimanjaro in preparation for his Everest expedition, Mt. Everest was the third of the world’s 7 Summits to be conquered in 2023.

Hari’s climbing success continued into 2024, where he reached the peak of the tallest mountain in North America, Denali (6,190m / 20,310ft). Working with Alpine Ascents, who coordinated his expedition, Hari summited with a five strong team, including his brother Nanda and Mingma Sherpa (who both summitted Everest with him in 2023) and the team from Alpine Ascents (Jangbu Sherpa (expedition leader), Aaron Schoening (guide),  Westley Shaffer (guide) that expertly led the climb.

Spring 2025 saw Hari continue to reach new heights as he set yet another world record, as the first double above-knee amputee to summit with prosthetic legs the highest peak outside of Asia – Mount Aconcagua (6,961m/ 22,837 ft). Hari's team for this climb included Mingma Sherpa and Abiral Rai, who also accompanied him during his Everest climb and the amazing team from Life Happens Outdoors including Rami Rasamny (expedition leader), Gustavo Caselli (lead guide), and Khalil Chehab.

Working with Life Happens Outdoors, Rami Rasamny, the climb leader who led the Aconcagua expedition, said: “Hari was an inspiration beyond words. There wasn’t a person who didn’t stop in awe at this incredible human being, humble, good humoured and always smiling all whilst scaling one of the most challenging summits amongst the seven.”

Hari’s penultimate summit success in his audacious 7 Summit mission made history once again in October 2025, when he summited Puncak Jaya (Carstensz Pyramid) the tallest mountain in Oceania with an elevation of 4,884m.

Following years of preparation and a gruelling three day climb, Hari and his team (Abiral Rai, Mingma Sherpa and climb leader Jangbu Sherpa from Alpine Ascents) battled -25 degree (Celcius) temperatures, vicious Antarctic winds, treacherous slopes, and freezing ice fields that tested his mind, body and prosthetic legs to the extreme, to reach the top of Mt. Vinson (4,892m) at 22:00 on 6th January, 2026.
